Introducing Group 1 Software’s New Blog
Since joining Group 1 Software in July 2005, I’ve been excited about the growth and improvements taking place across the entire company and our industry as a whole. Even more, I’ve been eager to share and discuss these changes. This led to the development of G1Blog, an open exchange of information between Group 1, our customers and the public.
Creating a Community
Key to G1Blog is community: I encourage all readers to participate in the blog discussion, and the authors—including myself—are fully committed to not only providing useful and engaging information, but responding to reader comments and questions.
Wide Range of Topics
G1Blog is not just a soapbox for us to tout Group 1. We will provide information and encourage discussions on a wide range of topics, including postal news and trends, technological innovations, and the CCM industry. G1Blog features nine public categories of information, covering topics ranging from data cleansing to online customer call centers.
Special Content for Customers
For Group 1’s valued customers, G1 Blog also offers a customer log in, which provides our customers access to special content, including product news and information specific to Group 1’s solutions: Business geographics, mailing efficiency, document composition and data quality.
Authors With Experience
As one of the leading companies in our industry, Group 1 is home to knowledgeable and experienced managers who are the authors for G1Blog. These authors also have close relationships within the industry—such as with the USPS—further helping them deliver valuable, timely information for G1Blog.
Subscribe and Stay Up—to—Date
G1Blog was developed with our readers in mind: RSS feeds are available for the main post index, as well as for each author and category. These feeds enable you to subscribe to the content you are most interested in and receive the information on whatever device or medium you choose, as well as on the major web portals like MSN, Yahoo! and Google.
Optimal for Mobile Users
G1Blog also has a mobile-optimized version, so busy users can read and comment on posts from anywhere in the world using their mobile phones or other mobile devices.
Let’s Get Started!
So, welcome to the G1Blog. I am particularly excited about this new endeavor and am looking forward to the discussions and exchanges. We are committed to providing timely, valuable information and participating in this open exchange with our readers. So, feel free to comment on posts, offering ideas, suggestions or even asking questions (be sure to read our comment policy). I look forward to hearing from you!
